HAPPY NEW YEAR

This year is going to be a VERRRRYYYYY exciting one!!!!! David will be coming home from Iraq, I'll be getting married and moving to North Carolina...and many other things are going to be exciting!!!! I can't wait to get started:-D Christmas with my family was the weekend before Christmas...and it was a blast as always! I can't wait to add David to the mix!!!! Then we went to my family in Indiana's for Christmas! Then I came home and have started a new job! We'll see how it works out:-D Lol!!! David is doing great!!! Somehow he is managing to keep up his sense of humor which I thank God for! He said sometimes when they are riding in the truck they will turn on music and the other day they player three said songs...and finally had to turn on upbeat music before they all lost it! I think they are VERY ready to come home:-D I thank God for his safe keeping though!!!!!! I start back to Dalton State next Monday...and it should be fun! I'm there ALL day on Monday and Wen! I hope I can keep my sanity:-D Hahaha! I'm taking Spanish 1, First aid/CPR, College Algebra, American Gov., and Human Development! I ready to get it over with! Lol!! My marine girlfriends and I are keep our spirits up while our men are gone by going out every month to dinner!!! It is soooo much fun and I've meet sooo many new friends!!!! I ended up with decent grades last semester...but hope for better ones next semester!!! Well I think I've caught ya'll up on my life so far! Sorry I don't have any pics with this...but if you go to all my families blogs...they have pictures of Christmas!!!! I hope EVERYBODY has an amazing New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy THANKSGIVING:-D

Happy Thanksgiving day to all my dear friends and family out there!!! I hope ya'lls day was great!!!! We went to my grandmothers and ate with family!! It was sooo much fun!!! I hadn't seen my cousin Essie and her family in FOREVER!!!! The kids have gotten sooo big that they made me feel old:D lol!!! I'll have pics up later...but I'm too lazy to do it right now:-D Lol!!! For now I just wanna put down all that I am VERY thankful for this year!!!!!!!!! This may get alil lengthy sooo settle back, get comfy...and read on:-D Lol!!!

1. MY FIANCE, David!!! I'm soooo glad God put us together! I'll NEVER know how i got soo lucky to get him! He has changed my life in soooo many ways!!! I never dreamed that I could get someone as WONDERFUL as David! I always dreamed of what my future husband would be like...but I think God gave me alot more than I dreamed!!! *david, I love you soooo much, and Im soooo proud of you!!!!*

2. MY MARINE...okay I know that I already talked about him...BUT i'm sooo thankful that he is willing to go overseas and protect you and I's freedom. He is sacraficing his life and his holidays with me and his family to protect his country! I know it is sooooo hard on him to be away...but He knows this is what he is called to do...and he is going to see that it is done!!! *Semper Fi, my marine!!*

3. PHONE CALLS:-D Nothing beats picking up the phone and hearing his voice! There is nothing else that can cheer up my day like those calls! He always tries to make me laugh as much as he can just so he can soak it all in! Those Calls are the only thing that has gotten me through these deployments!!!!

4. MY CrAzY family!!!!! I love ya'll sooooooooooooooo much!!!!!! Ya'll are the best:-D

5. My iNsAnE future in-laws:-D I'm sooooo glad ya'll are just as crazy as me and my family:-D I'm sooo glad God gave such great in-laws!!! It would be sooo hard if ya'll hadn't accepted me right into the family like ya'll did....well after Leah "talked" to me really good:-D Hehe!!! J/k, Leah:-D I love ya'll sooo much! And I'm glad ya'll raised such an amazing Godly and Gentleman just for me:-D Lol!

6. My Marine girlies!!!! These girls have gotten me through this deployment too!!! We are all going through the same thing or have been through it!! They are the best!!!! * Love ya'll sooo much!!! I couldn't make it without ya'll!!!!!

7. GOD!! He is the best thing that has ever happened to my life! He is the reason I can hold my head up high everyday! God has blessed my life sooo much in the past few years!!!! I can't wait to see all the things he has left for my life!!!!

My poor car:-(((((

I didn't have time to get a picture of it for you...but I had to tell you about my Monday! I promise you..if I have a REALLY good day...the next day is TERRIBLE!!!!! Soo I was on my way to school...early so I could hang out with some friends.....and I had a reck! I was coming up on a red light and saw that it was yellow...and the car in front of me was acting like it was going to go through the light...soo I started slowing down so that I could stop for the red light....and I looked down for a second and when I looked up the car in front had slammed on her brakes and I slammed on mine.....and well....we had a fender bender! It didn't hurt her car at all...but it kinda messed up my poor lil car:-(((( She did go to the ER though cuz I think she must have gotten whiplash or something! I don't know...she was an older lady..probably in her 60's! She was nice to me though because I did apologize to her...and she was like...its just an accident! But I tell it...it scared me half to death! Anyhooo luckly mom was near by visiting someone soo the poilice man had her follow me home just in case something were to happened to my car (the blinker was basically dragging the ground and the hood bent in alil:-D). Soo after we got home, we turned around and mom took me to school and back! THEN last night after my night class I was driving momma's van home when i got pulled over! I knew I was NOT speeding because I just checked my speed. Well I guess I had a tail light and blinker light out...but the lady was really nice and just told me to get it fixed! But it freaked me out when i got pulled over!!!! UGH! THEN in the lil town right before mine....I saw blue lights go on behind me and I just knew it was me...but luckly it was for someone behind me! But that still scared me half to death! Soooo I decided that I'm just going to stay inside today! Or at least not drive anywhere! I don't think my poor heart could take anymore:-D Hahahahaha!!!!! At least I had nice cops all day:-D Sooo that was the start of my week:-DDDD Hope you got a good laugh out of my day:-D

Suday was our Pastor App. day! We couldn't fit it into the schedule in October sooo we did it this month!!! We took our whole church up to a cabin/chapel in the mountains and had an old fashion day!! It was soooo much fun! Everyone dressed in old fashion clothes (except me...I just did the country look! Lol!!!)!!! Daddy preached a WONDERFUL sermon...and it was just fun to go "back" in time. We had to use lanterns for lighting, and guitars and banjos for the music!!!! It was a blast!!!!!!!!!!

Youth Challenge was lots of fun this year...but I'm soooooooooo tired from it! Lol! I got to see lots of my friends sooo that part was really cool! It was sad though to think I don't know when I'll ever get back:-( *Tear* Lol!!!! God really helped me out this weekend too! It was lots of fun!

The Life of a Marine Fiance...

I thought I would share what it is like to be a marine fiance.....
-You wait and wait and wait for a phone call only to realize that he won't be calling today
- You can become best friends with a stanger just because they are wearing a USMC shirt or have a sticker on their car.
- You cry when you hear of someones man getting hurt or worse, killed.
- You do your best to survive through the TOUGHEST times even though you don't feel like you can make it another step
- You hold your breath everytime the phone rings....hoping and praying it's him.
- Everytime you go to the store you buy him two or three new things to send him.
- You want to shoot anyone protesting against the war or our troops.
- You do your best to sound chipper on the phone and in emails when all you want to do is just cry with relief because you know he is safe and you miss so bad.
- You dream of being in his arms only to wake up and realize it's just a dream
- You scream when you realize you have a email, phone call, myspace message or ANYTHING from him!
- A simple "i love you" makes your day.
- A simple "i'm okay...I promise" makes it even better!!
- You read of other wife's, girlfriends, fiance's struggles and you cry with them because you understand.
- You never look at the news because it is too depressing and scary
- You can speak in Military time
- You could talk all the lingo with Marines and understand exactly what they are saying.
- You pray for his buddies just as much as him because you know it would kill him to lose a buddy
- You can't watch a war movie without crying
- YOu learn you are more independant than you thought
- And least but definitley NOT last........you learn to pray and rely on God more than you ever had to before. Because you can't protect your man over there...only God can! Sooo don't ever forget to pray for my man, your men and all the other men surving our country! Freedom isn't free...at least not for the Marines and their women...but we do it all over again just to see that everyone else in the world is free.

I'm sure there are many more things I could think about if I really thought about it...but these are just a few I thought of. David called me yesterday and left me a myspace comment today soooo I'm have a good day:-D Thanx for your prayers.....please keep praying for God's safe keeping on our boys!!!!!!!

Tagged...

I was tagged a LONG time ago...but I'm just getting around to doing it...hahaha!!!! Here are seven random things about me!

1. I LOVE cinammon Rolls! I could eat them allllllll the time! Hahah!

2. I don't ususally like Chocolate....I have to be in a mood to eat it! hahah!

3. I'm planning on having 10 to 12 Bridesmaids in my wedding:-D

4. My best friend from middle school up is also married to a military man.....he is in the army though! Hahah! And her other best friend is married to an Army man:-D

5. My goals in life is to be David's wife and a mother to our children.....but I want to be a NURSE sooooo bad! It seems like I"ll never be one since everything with my school is screwed up..but I will be some day! I want to work with Premies or Labor and Delivery.....I DO NOT want to work main floor..ugh! Hahaha!

6. David and I have known each other since elementary school! And I DID NOT ask him to my Senior Banquet...he asked me! Leah thought it sounded better the other way;-) Haha! It was at a school picinic...and he kept talking to me all day and kept talking about the banquet....but couldn't get up his nerve to ask. I knew he wanted to...and it was bugging me that he didn't come right out and ask me! Well later after he hit a homerun in the baseball game....he can running over to me and asked me to go with him. He said he told himself that if he made a homefun he would ask me...but if he didn't then he knew he shouldn't ask me! Hahaha!

7. My last and final......when David and I started talking....I was dating a Navy guy! I would always text David and ask for advice...hahaha! Then when I broke up with Ryan....David and I still kept texting as friends.....until He got back from Boot Camp:-D OHHH and some people never knew this...but we did hang out otgether as MUCH as we could those three days after I got back to school and before he left for boot camp!!!! I didn't just start liking him after BC! I liked him before he left...but he told me not to wait on him....but if I was still single at Christmas..we'll see where things go! hahaha! He also told me, he didn't need a girl...he was going to make the Marines his life till he was about 30....sooo I was like okay! Thats fine! But I think we changed our minds:-D Hehehe!

Okay soooo there are my seven random things:-D I'm not going to tag anyone...bc I'm pretty sure everyone has been tagged already....hahaha!!!!! WAIT...I will tag my mom and my sister cuz I know they haven't done it yet! Hahaha!

My best friends wedding....

My Dearest High School Pal got married this weekend:-( Danielle Case married Sean Adams. I love them both to death! Sean is a blast and great Christian guy! They really do make a great couple! While David was home for PreD leave, we went out on several double dates with Sean and Dani! It was a blast!!!! David and Sean are so much alike it's scary! Danielle and I just learned to shake our heads and laugh at them! Hahaha! I flew down Friday evening and got there just in time for the rehersal. After the rehersal, I made a quick trip to Walmart for last min. items and then went up to the courts for Intermurals! Saturday arrived VERY early! Dani had asked me to show up around 8:30 which I did! And, man, I'm glad I did! We rushed around doing last min. items and then the pictures started! They turned out really good...or at least I'm pretty sure they did! Hahaha! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was exciting to think that our of all our friends (so far), I'm the next one to get married!!! AHHHHH!!! I can't wait! hahaha! The reception was really good too and they had an AWESOME car to ride away in! Afterwards, Erica (one of the other bridesmaids) and I went back to the church to get our stuff together, clean up and just sit for a min.! Hahaha! I was sooo tired! I can only imagin what Dani felt like! Hahaha1! Later that evening, I went over to my good friend, Mistys and we discussed wedding plans! It was a blast! Then Sunday I flew home! It was a short and great weekend! It was fun being back in Florida! I love it there! Soooo here are a few pics from the wedding! Surviving...

Just letting ya'll know that I am surviving! It is tough being sooo far away from David and not being able to hear from him all the time...but I promise I'll be okay! School has been REALLY rough sooo pray that it will get alil better, maybe! Sometimes I don't think I'll make it but then I remember that my "job" is alot easier than David's right now and that keeps me going! Pray for him that God will protect him and send him home soon:-D Hahaha! It hasn't even been a week yet and I'm ready for my man to come back to me!!! hahaha! Thanx for your prayers!

A wonderful two weeks with my man...

These past few weeks with David have been AMAZING!!!! I got really spoiled having him around all day:-D We had a blast together! We have made many new memories! I"M ENGAGED!!!!!!!

I am know offically engaged to David Fulton Jr!!! He asked me yesterday!!!! He took me to the docks and told me to close my eyes...and when I opened them...he was on one knee with my watch in his hand!!!! I LOVE my watch!!! We are getting married Aug. 16, 2008! Soo just thought I would let ya'll know that it is now offical:-D I'll keep ya posted!!!
David and I fly home today...soo pray for our safety and his family b/c this is the last time they will see him before the sandbox! Thank you sooo much for your prayers!!!!!!!

My Baby's 20th Birthday...

Twenty years ago today, God decided to bless this world with a little boy that would someday rock my world! David turned twenty today and I'm soooo happy for him! He is currently home on PreDeployment leave and is having a blast just doing NOTHING! Hahaha! I head to Flordia on Saturday to spend a few days with him and his family and then we will fly back together. David will stay at my house for the last few days he has off for PreD leave! I'm soooo proud of that boy! He is my hero! I couldn't have asked God for a better man for me! He has made all my dreams and wishes come true! I know it will be tough when he leaves but I keep reminding myself that God has control of this situation...and boy, does He do ALOT better job at taking care of things than I do! Please rememeber us all in pray as we prepare ourselves for this exciting but sad time!

He is in training right now...but should be done this weekend! Thank the Lord! Then He will hang around Camp Lejune till Pre-Deploment leave! This weekend, Dad, Mom, and I got to go to Gatlenburg to our Ass. Pastor and his wife's 20th Ann. celebration! They celebrated by renewing their vows in a cute lil country church! It was really cool!!!!! I'm glad I got to attend because they have been like a second family to me for years! Congradulations!!!!!!! 1st Step into Nursing School...

Hey ya'll...
I haven't written in awhile sooo I thought I would tell ya'll about my 1st day at my new College (Dalton State)! It went really good! And I think my classes seemed easier because I have taken them all before! (My Credits from HSBC wouldn't transfer...soo I'm having to start over...grr!!!) Oh well...now I have no excuse to not have a 4.0 this time around! hahaha! My Psych class is going to be my favorite I think! I have several friends in that class plus my teacher is pretty cool! My Biology teacher is pretty cool too! And my poor Algebra teacher is kinda having a hard time getting started this year:-D Anyhooo...I have been praying that I would be able to take off a week during David's PreD leave.....and I have to find out from one more class if I can...but I'm 99% sure the others are going to work with me! They said they would! Praise the Lord! Keep praying it all works out though! I'm also suppose to be flying back done to FL at the end of September for my dear friend, Danielle's wedding! Lets pray that God gives me a GREAT job between now and then:-D Hahaha!!! Well gotta run...luv and miss you all!!!!!!

A weekend to remember!!

H'mmmm...where to start???? Ohhhh FRIDAY:-D I woke up and decided that since Elisabeth Welsh and several of her friends would be coming in Saturday night...I would just go ahead and do a DEEP cleaning of the house! It isn't dirty since mom is gone and I pick up after myself..but it needed a deep cleaning! Sooo after I have finished this...I got a phone call from my amazing Marine who was on his lunch break! And he decided then that he wanted to come see me...THAT DAY!!! Soooo we hung up and I went and searched tickets and we actually found a decent one! He got off work at two, bought his ticket, packed and was on his way at 3! WOW! Meanwhile, I am trying to figure out where to put him and how I'm even going to go get him since my car is having repairs done on it! My wonderful sister, Susan came to my resque! *THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!* She let me borrow her car (a HUGE suv, mind you:-D) and offerend to let David stay with them! The first night he stayed in a camper they are borrowing and last night he slept on their couch since Elizabeth's friends were staying in the camper! I picked him up around 9:30 and we headed home! We hung out till....oh goodness I don't know..but it was late! And then my wake up call was EARLY!!!! FIVE O"CLOCK!!! I didn't know that five came around twice:-D Hahaha! We were going to go running but it rained...YEAH...oops I mean..ugh that stinks:-D Hahaha! Soo we hung out alil bit then went back over to Susan and Jeff's and had a HUGE breakfast! Then the rest of the day we just hung out with them! It was a blast! And David feel in love with Colton! Wish I could have gotten a picture of them together! OHHH yeah...to make matters things bad...on thursday I was in the bathroom at Walmart and my purse feel off the little purse-hanger thing and because it was broke1 This happened twice...and guess what got borke...MY CAMARA!!! AAAHHH!!! Soo I have to take it in an get it fixed because we had a one year warranty on it! Thank goodness! Anyhooo so that only pictures we got this weekend were a few on his and my phone and one that Susan took on her camara right before we left to go back to the airport! Soooo now you know how my weekend went! Nothing tooo excited:-D HA! It was nice just to have a relaxing weekend with David! He needed one:-D Wait..sooo did I...or maybe I just needed him:-D Hahahaha! Well gotta run...i've written enough for now! I'll try to post that one lil pic we did take on here later! Love you all! Please keep praying for my man and I that we will continue to follow what God has for our lives! Sometimes it can get really hard when the world is telling you one thing and God is telling you another! But with God's help...David and I have chosen to take His path! God promises that He will never leave us or forsake us! Whether we are together or oceans apart! H'mm...thats going to be tough to remember when September rolls around...but hey, God put us in each other's lives for a reason....so we will make it! And I am sooooo glad God gave me David! He has helped me alot!!! I couldn't have made it without him several times there to talk and pray with me! Mom and Dad's 39th Ann.

Today was my parents ann. And I had no idea what I was going to do for mom! Dad called and asked me to do something special so that it wouldn't be a bad day for her since he was gone! Isn't he the best:-D Okay, okay , so I'm prejudiced:-D Anyhooo...I went over to Susans originally to help watch the kids and clean alittle and we ended up coming up with this idea to make Momma a special dinner! We made "I wasn't too chicken to marry you" Chicken Dish, "Spuds ova you" Potatoes, "Hairy" Green Beans, and I don't think we ever came up with a name for the cake (A yellow cake with glaze and fresh Strawberries over top)! We had a blast doing this and keeping it a surprise from mom! Alexis and I picked out the Roses which are from Dad and I! I wanted to get mom the pink roses with dark pink edges but Alexis thought that Grandmamma would like the Red ones better:-D Ohhhh yeah, check out the cake picture! Can you see where the lil mouse (named Alexis) got into it:-D I guess thats proof that it was good:-D Hahaha! BTW, Susan had mom and Dad's wedding picture and a picture of dad on the table just for mom! Tonight was a blast! Happy Ann. to the best parents ever!!! They really have sacrificed alot to raise us kids! And once they thought they had raised me...here I come back home again:-D Hahaha! I love you both alot! These are just a few pictures of the best Forth of July I have ever had!!! I have never gotten to spend a 4th just hanging out a home having fun! My family is always at camp so we have never celebrated as a family! Sooo I was very excited to spend it with David and His family! I got in the night before and David and I didn't got to bed till about 2:30am sooo we were alil groggy the next morning! Plus Carrie and I both were trying to get over Jet Lag! Ahh! Anyhoooo David and I took his cousin back to the airport then we as a family went the beach an took family pictures!!! Meanwhile I think it hit David and I both really had how much he really is fighting for! It was something that words cannot describe! I am soooo proud of David and all that He is doing and will be doing! He never complains (except that he misses me..but thats okay:-D)! He really is my hero! *I love you, sweetheart* ANyhoooo after pictures, we got back to the cars to find that one of the tires were flat! Sooo we waited around while David and Dave fixed it just in time before it started pouring rain! We then headed off to Outback for our 4th of July meal (Which was AMAZING!!!!!) and then to church! After church several people came over an we had snacks and the boys set off fireworks! It was alot of fun! Then later that night David and I went over to our friend, Ben's house and set off more fireworks and bottle bombs!!! Well...the guys did! Ben's girlfriend and my best friend, Noelle and I just talked:-D Hahaha!!!! It was soooooo much fun spending time with David and His family!!!! *Thank you guys for an amazing time!!! Luv ya'll!!!* Then on Thursday morning, David and I both flew out to our different directions (Him: back to base and Me: to camp)! I got stuck in Charolette, NC from 3 till 10 though! That was a bad day! But I think God did it for a reason! I got to witness or at least try to witness to a young guy about my age on my plane into Birmingham! And had I been able to get on the earlier flight I would have never been able to talk to him! I guess this whole trip has taught me that God has a plan for everything! And that I just have to sit back and let Him work all the details out! It will all be okay since he is in control of my life!!! I really feel like this trip helped me to draw closer to God and that I will NEVER regret!!!!!!!! Okay thank you guys for letting me ramble and caught up on all my blogs!
