Update on life....

It has been so long since I posted and I decided that I need to update things.

We now live in South Florida. It is beautiful here and we love it. We are close to a good church and several close friends.

This is right outside my front porch.....

David is now out of the Marines and is currently a security officer at a local hospital. He enjoys it and always has a funny story to share. Although the stories almost make me sad because it really shows how lost our world is without Christ.

I am currently a full time stay at home mom to Addison. I enjoy it but there are days where I just want to hire a babysitter so I can just sit in peace. Lol. I'm also pregnant with a little boy that is due this fall.

Addison is a rowdy two year old with a love of life. She loves to laugh, make others laugh, sing, dance (although I"m so sure you could call bouncing up and down dancing;-)), play with her daddy, and play outside. She loves her daddy but she is a true mommy's girl. We just got back from a two week trip to my parents. She fell in love with her Popa and MomMom (suppose to be Grandmomma but Addi can't say all that yet.). She is learning new things everyday. Her newest thing is praying. We always pray before bed...and she will not pray unless your hands are folded. Her little prayer is always "Dear Jesus, Amen." It makes me smile though because I know as she gets older she will fill in those blanks with alot more words. And for now I'm sure God is just thankful that she is praying to Him. I can't seem to keep up with her anymore. She is such a stubborn girl but yet can be so tender at times. I can't wait to see what God has planned for her.

Little Man is doing great. He is so much more calm than Addison ever was. I'm afraid that means he is just saving up his energy till he is born. Haha! I can't wait to be the mom of a little boy. After seven nephews, I think,....I think...I know what I'm in for. Lol.

I have several more on Facebook but I just love these!!!!! Mommy and Baby girl are doing great. Althought I'm REALLY starting to get impatient. Lol! I'm soooo ready for her to be here. I mean I know that in several months or even several years, I'll be wishing she was still inside of me so I knew what she was doing and where she was at all times. Lol! But right now....I just want to be me again. I plan to breastfeed so I know that my body won't be mine for another several months but at least someone else could hold the baby for me during the time I'm not feeding. Haha! I'm ready for her to kick daddy instead of kicking me. Hahahaha! Last night I started daydreaming about what it is going to be like when I see her for the first time....and I think it just made me more impatient. Lol!!!! Her bags are all packed but I'm still putting mine off. I plan to do it tomorrow. Daddy looked at my list of stuff to pack and had no clue where any of the baby's stuff was that I wanted....soo I figured I should at least pack her stuff just in case. Lol!!! I went to the doctor on Tuesday...and everything is looking great. Baby Girl has FINALLY turned...now we just gotta get her to drop. H'mm...maybe I'll go walking about this. Lol!!! I've only gained 25lbs this pregnacy and I'm praise God for that. Lol! I did not want to end up gaining a hundred pounds or something. Hahaha! I can't wait to run it all off. I've had weird cravings this pregnancy...and I don't mean food-wise. For example, I cannot wait to run again (wish I had never stopped in the first place..ugh), I wanna go rollar blading, I crave sleeping on my stomach, and everything else I'm not allowed to do while I"m prego. Haha! Ohh well...it will all be over soon enough. I can't believe I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow!!!!!!!! YAHOOOO!!!!!! Well I better go get ready for the day and vaccum my floors. I cleaned yesterday but I didn't have the energy to vaccum. Lol! Sooooo that is all for now....ta ta till later!!!!!!!

I'm bored...lol

I'm really starting to get sick of boring nights:-D Haha!!! Soooo I thought I would blog. I have noo idea what I'm gonna blog about sooo it will probably be a bunch of random junk! Hahaha!!!

Things are starting to fall into place with all the baby's stuff. We only have a few things left to get for her. I'm starting to get soooo excited! Her carseat/stroller should arrive next week and I can't wait!!!! I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow. I really cant believe how fast time has flown...well at least since week 17. Hahaha!!! I had my maturnity pictures done yesterday and it was soo much fun. My friend Nikki is starting up her photography bussiness. She did such an AWESOME job! She was full of cool ideas. I've seen three sneak peek pictures and I can't wait to see the rest. I had a doctors appointment yesterday as well. Everything is looking great. Baby and I are doing really good. I am measuring two weeks behind and she was beech at the appt. Soo because of that I get to have an ultrasound next visit to check on things. I'm really not worried because one: I'll be having a small baby and not a 10 pounder...haha. And second, I'm pretty positive she will turn soon. She still has plenty of room to move around. My doctor wasn't worried either. But still...I am praying that she turns so I don't have to have a CSection. I'm not scared to have a c-section.....I just want to be able to try and deliver naturally. That is what God designed my body to do. Let just say this...I am having the epidural because I HATE pain.....but hopefully everything else will be done naturally. Hahaha! I would really be hurt if I couldn't at least try to have her naturally. But then again whatever is safest for my baby, I'll do. Except go without pain meds...that I can't do! Hahahaha! I'm really starting to be ready for her to come out. Lol! I know that Im only 34 weeks...but ugh! It is really starting to get uncomfortable now. I can't really bend over anymore...which means I have to wear shoes that don't tie. Haha! I can't lift anything heavy...except my purse;-) Lol! And I'm really getting bored! I guess I should enjoy my peace and quiet while I can. Lol!!! Well I have run out of words for now sooo ta ta for now! Talk to ya'll later!!!!!!!

My New Year

This new year has been a very interesting one to say the least. I've had to face some things so far this new year that haven't been that fun. Through it all though, I have learned that God is in control and He knows what He is doing. He has always been there for me when I needed Him. Sometimes it is easy to lose sight of things in a town where God isn't number one....but somehow He is always there for me when I slip. One of my goals this year is to become even closer to God. I want to be all that He wants for me. I want to be a Godly wife and mother. I know that if I honor God's wishes, I will never regret it.

I am sooo happy to be married to the man of my dreams. Life has been interesting for us over the past year and a half....but I wouldn't change marrying him for the world. He is so loving, funny, annoying;-), God-loving, and helpful. There is noo way I would have made it through this pregnancy without him. We have grown closer I feel since Ive gotten pregnant. David gets out of the marines this summer and we are both excited and a little nervous about it. We are hopefully moving to Hobe Sound, Florida so that we can both finish our college degrees. I'm sooo proud to have a husband who is a United States Marine. Yes, sometimes it sucks because he has to be gone or miss important things. But somehow we have survived through them all. I can't believe we have only six or seven months left. It seems like yesterday I was walking into church seeing that brand new marine fresh out of boot camp. That was over three years ago now....wow how time flies. I'm soo happy that I have had this experience of being a marine wife. Sometimes I really believe that I can handle anything now because of it. Hahaha! I have met some amazing friends because of the USMC. The Marine Corps has definitely changed David and I's lives...but I believe it has been for the better.

Sometimes I get so nervous thinking about becoming a mom. I mean I have wonderful examples all around me so I know I will be okay. I guess the thing that scares me the most is what if I fail her? What if I'm not a good enough example for her? I want her to see Jesus through me. I want to love my husband so much that when she grows up she wants a marriage like mommy and daddy had. I want my child to know Jesus in such a passionate way. I can't wait to meet my little angel and begin training her in the way she should go. It is a little nerve racking to think about raising a child in today's society...but I know with God's help...David and I will do the best we can.

I didn't really make any New Years Resolutions this year because I never seem to stick with them. Haha! Besides they are always about losing weight...and well that isn't a possiblity right now. Haha!!! I guess if I had to choose some though...they would be this:
1. Become stronger in my walk with Christ
2. Be a better wife...and more of a praying wife!
3. Become the best mom I know how to be
4. Just LOVE life...and enjoy life one day at a time...
5. OHH and I have to follow tradition......lose ALL my baby weight as SOONNNNN as possible! Hahahaha!!!!

Holidays 09

David and I stayed home for Thanksgiving this year. Last year, we went to some friends for T'giving lunch...but this year I decided to cook us our own meal. I had a blast and can't wait to do it again next year.

Here is a little preview of some of the food we had. We watched the Macy's T'giving Parade and Football while we ate. Ahhh..nothing better than football and food! Hahaha!

That night I was able to drag David along with me to do a little Black Friday Christmas Shopping. I've NEVER gone shopping at 3am before....but I LOVED it! I can't wait to do it again next year. David said he isn't going...and I told him that was fine because then he could watch the baby. I think he changed his mind after that! Haha!

I didn't take any pictures while we were in Indiana for Christmas with David's family. But here is a picture of what the roads looked like while we were traveling from IN to GA. It was nice to see snow...but I was glad when we were out of it. Lol

Christmas at my family's is ALWAYS a riot. We laughed, ate alot, played games, made fun of each other, played music and sang, and just had a great time. This is David and I with my sister Susan's youngest, Weston. He was tired Christmas Eve and so he got to snuggle with me for awhile.

This is my nephew Ethan reading the Christmas Story from the Bible on Christmas Eve. He is only in first grade but knew most of the words already. I'm soo proud of him. He has come such a long way and is becoming a very special young man.

Christmas Afternoon, David and I left and headed to my sister's in SC. My nephew Carson (who shares a Birthday with me) wants to be a Brain Surgeon when he grows up. So his grandparents got him some really cool doctor stuff for Christmas. This was him listening to my heartbeat. We were able to hear the baby's heartbeat too. Carson thought it was so cool to hear his little cousin's heartbeat.

And I'll end this post with a special picture of my adorable neice and I!!!! Can you tell she is my favorite niece? Okay soo what if she is my only niece...she is still my favorite! Hahahaha!!!!

Our Big News of the Year:-D

David and I are going to have a BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are sooooooooo excited!!!! We found out July 3rd while we were at camp. It was awesome being able to have my family there to enjoy the news with us. Our parents are all so excited and all the aunts and uncles are ready to spoil her:-D Lol!!!

And....this is what I look like now. Haha! I'm almost 32 weeks and I can't believe it. Once the morning sickness went away time started to fly! Lol!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!! Daddy is already wrapped around her little finger. I'm soo excited that I'm having a girl. I can't wait to dress her up and play with her hair!

Wow....longgggg time nooo update! Hahaha!!!

Well I haven't blogged in several months soo I thought I would pick it back up!! Alot of things have happened since I last posted! Lol!!!! I'm going to try and hit on a few highlights and then do a few more posts:-D

In May, I got to fly out to Colorado to visit with some VERY dear friends of mine. Hayley had just had Jordon so I flew out for her baby shower. I was soo happy to be able to spend time with my good friends and such a cute little baby:-D

Then in July, David and I went to Alabama for our annual vacation to Family Camp. Almost my whole family was able to be there and it was soo much fun. David enjoyed being able to get away from the MC for awhile and I enjoyed being with all my family and some of my dearest friends. This picture is of my adopted sister, Angela (who was a missionary teacher to Belieze at the time but was able to fly home for a vacation), me, and my best friend Joyce.

Uncle David and Emma got to bond while at camp and I loved watching him take care of her. He is gonna be such a great dad!!!

I can't believe that next year at camp, I'll have a kid. Wow...soo weird! Lol!!! I grew up at camp...and I really hope my child is able to get the same!!!

On July 4th, we went with some friends to see fireworks. I love this picture of us because it shows our personalities. Lol! We both love having fun and we have a blast together. I'm sooo glad that God gave me such an amazing man!!!!!!

In Aug., Carrie (David's sister) married Josh Kline. David was unable to go thanks to the MC...but thank the Lord for technolgy. He was able to watch the wedding online. I was her matron of Honor. I was soo excited to be in her wedding....but it was very hard not having David there to enjoy it with me!

Our families great friends from Florida drove up for the wedding and I had fun getting to spend a little bit of time with my flower girl:-D David was jeolous he didn't get to see his "other" girl:-D

On Aug. 16th, David and I celebrated our one year ann.!!! I couldn't believe how fast time seemed to have flown! I was soo happy that I married this man! He has made my wildest dreams come true. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!!!!

Josh surprised Carrie on their honeymoon by swinging by our house on their way back to Florida. It was soo much fun having them here for a weekend. I know David loved seeing his sister. It made us all more excited about living in the same town when we move this summer!!!
